Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our client services and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted during business hours. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us prior to arriving to help expedite the care of your pet. Additionally, a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.
We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 7 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle most pet emergencies and urgent needs. Emergencies can be things such a snail bait poisoning, hit by car, and chocolate ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call. It is best to call before coming in so that a team member can advise you on your particular emergency.
We are also available for WEEKEND URGENT CARE for emergency care or when the condition is not life-threatening, but you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment. Walk-in cases are welcome during weekend urgent care; however, calling ahead will help shorten your wait time. When you arrive, our client services will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.
Weekend Urgent Care is also available on Saturday's from 9am-6pm and Sunday's from 11am-6pm.

State Road Animal Hospital accepts payment via cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, Discover or CareCredit. So that we can continue to provide you high quality service utilizing the best medical technologies, we request that payment be made at the time services are rendered.
We provide treatment plans for all surgeries and hospitalizations. If you have not received an treatment plan, you are welcome to request one at any time for your expected charges.

We provide Healing Laser Therapy. Laser Therapy is used to help reduce pain, reduce inflammation, and increase the speed of healing. We use Laser Therapy for acute conditions such as wounds, allergies, infections, cuts/bites, inflammation, tooth extraction, pain relief, sprains, strains and fractures, and post-surgical healing and pain relief.
