Kara

Kara has always had a love for animals. As a child she was always found caring for family and friend’s pets.

She began her veterinary career in 2011 as a high school co-op kennel aid.

She stayed working in veterinary medicine while obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Ferris State University. Later on, she continued her education and became a Licensed Veterinary Technician.

She is also a Certified Cat Friendly Professional and Frear Free Certified Professional providing exceptional care to our patients. She has been the Practice Manager at State Road since 2024.

Kara loves to spend time with her husband Brandon and daughter Lily.

She enjoys camping, hunting, fishing, gardening and caring for the many animals around their home including 3 dogs, 1 cat, chickens, ducks, quail and rabbits.
